Random and EDM Flat Top Brush

Everytime I put these lenses on, I am reminded of Furby!! For the sake of changing things I put on fake lashes and white liner. I need a better white liner since my Rimmel one keeps blending in with my foundation.

lol..me trying to be ..asian? hahaha whatev.

So today was the first time I ever applied my liquid foundation on with my EDM Flat Top brush. I must say that I feel like such an idiot for not getting to this sooner. I've had this brush for almost over a year and I never thought the liquid and brush would work for me. I've tried using a professional foundation brush before but it would always go on streaky or whatever. I just need one pump of my revlon and one of mac and i'm good. (i mix the two because my mac one is a bit dark).

Hamburger Cupcakes and Fingernails

Yes, that's a cupcake! I made this because I was so excited from looking at yummy pancakes version of these! NEE is a hamburger fan and I made him smile and giggle making these :) I made some for the girlies for when we meet on Tuesday. Hopefully all things go planned.

I did a sloppy job but they're something to look at. I'm starting to get into doing my nails..how scary. Nails are a whole 'nother branch of beauty. I keep my nails short and trimmed because they grow super fast (due to the prenatal pills) and I just can't stand clipping them when they're long.

Before heading out to Elizabeth's new place. The big eyes* lol. I haven't worn my hair split for such a long time!
I'm sOOo in love with her dog Mia. When we got there Mia was pawing at me and she was such a cutie. A good doggy who is in love with her mama. I thought it was so cute when she was growling because she's possesive of eliz*. lol ..makes me want a dog :(

Barbie Circle Lens + Food :)

I love green apples, mostly due to the fact that they don't turn brown as fast and because they're sour. :)

I made these because I had leftover chocolate dipping. Mmm

I received my barbie circle lens today in the mail! They make my eyes look bigger!! The pictures don't show how pretty they are in real life. The comfortability of them are pretty good. No problems so far. I can't wait to try out other colors and stuff. I swear I can wear just a tinted moisturizer and mascara with these contacts and i'm good to go.

my favorite look is gold and purple eyeshadow.

nee says: you look so beautiful right now.
me: *warm feeling* hehe

Dr. Bronner's Soap and how much I LOVE IT!

If you haven't heard the greatness of this already, now you will :)
This soap really is *magic*. hehe :) I was watching Vanessa's youtube video of how she cleans her beauty blender, and how she uses this brand of soap to clean it. I have the Sonia Kashuk blender and i've been using baby shampoo to clean it, I don't know why I just have :P Anyways I decided to try out a small sample of this that they sell at Target, it comes in a sample size and the huge bottle for like $14.
So i'm at home getting all of my things done and then I finally get around to cleaning my blender with the soap. Instantly I notice a lot of the foundation come off the sponge and i'm like wow! I did remember reading reviews on how a lot of women will dilute this and use it to clean everything in there house. So then for the real test, I take my Everyday Mineral brushes and clean them with the soap. ..what do ya know, they look brand new! It's always been hard for me to remove all the mineral off of my brushes but man o man do I love this stuff.
..then I go overboard! I've been using the Olay in-shower lotion (which is wonderful btw) and that stuff makes your tub a grease ring! I get an empty spray bottle, put like 20 drops of the castille soap and fill up the rest of the spray bottle with water, shake it, and start scrubbing away at the tub. My tube is now..clean and white :) This pretty much ends with me taking my spray bottle with the magic soap in it to clean everything around in the house. I clean the stove, tub, toilet, countertops, mirrors, and a lot of other things with it and I love it.
(i even got around to vacuuming and carpet steaming our place! i'm on a roll :P)
It is natural so I do not have to worry about harmful fumes esp. since I am pregnant.
Oh yeah, this stuff removes makeup in an instant. haha okay I should say that but seriously with one wash of trying this on my face, all of my studio finish/powder/primer came off. I did the toner check to see if it took it off and it did. I would probably dilute it though because it's pretty strong.
It claims that it does not cut dirt but it dissolves it!
It's worth a try if you can get your hands on it.

Surprise from Amysunshine! + Face Shop Primer/Base Green

I received this in the mail today from my dear sweet sweet friend Amy! She told me that she was going to hook me up with one of these but I didn't have the time to think so, or remember. But, my husband checked the mail today and here it is! It's also PINK! I lovveeee pink. I gave this a test run and I love it so much more than my T9 Remington Studio one that has been frying my hair. It heats up to 400 degrees and I also gave it a test run to curl my hair and it does a beautiful job! I can finally say goodbye to my stinkin cheapo remington one. Thank you so much Amy! You really do shine like the sun :)

I ordered this off of eBay because I have no other source of getting my hands on this unless I order it online. I wish I did have access to it though! Maybe i'll contact my sisters in california to find a shop for me. The eBay shop gave me a sample of their grape seed oil body shower gel along with the -green makeup base.
The packaging is plastic, it does not come in a metal tube even though it looks like it. It is 1.4oz, i'm assuming it will last a while since i will most likely just use this on my shiny areas.

It is not thick, not like my monistat primer. It it's slightly creamy but that only means you won't have to put so much on.
I wore this out today under my fondation and did not have to blot anywhere on my face except for the sides of my nose, but I ALWAYS have to because my skin is stubborn like that. My foundation stayed put, seriously!

If you can spot the pale white cast on my hand in the picture, that is where the base is.
When applying this, you will notice that the green will make you look a bit ghostly, but that is only because it is "concealing" or working on hiding the blemishes. It's also good because you can tell where you have spread the primer because of the color verses it being clear. I sometimes can put a little too much primer on, causing my skin to breakout.

Description: Oil-free, non-sticky makeup base helps skin banish unwanted shine for fresh makeup. Green neutralizes redness and evens out skin tone.

SKINTONES:
combo/oily
PROS: you do not need to use a lot!
mattifying
prolongs foundation wear (i live in florida where it's HOT!)
helps with redness
CONS: no source near here for me :( i had to wait 15 days to get this!

26 Weeks and 2 days Pregnant

I can't wait to meet my little one. I can imagine his personality already. Naughty, silly, and handsome like his daddy. Active and crazy like his cousin Erik, and smart like me! :)
Throughout this pregnancy I have gotten almost everything! I've been sick with the cold, terrible nausea (i mean TERRIBLE), heat rash, allergies, big boobs, weight gain, dandruff, and probably a few more other things I cannot remember as of right now.
I'm so glad the military gives the Mirena for free. ..because as far as I know, Keenan is going to be my one and only child!
other than that, i'm just waiting for the rest of my stuff that I have ordered online to get in.

MAC Studio Fix Fluid + eyeshadow in PLOOF!

I decided to try out the Studio Fix Fluid from Mac and I love it! I know it's a good chunkachange but it does not feel heavy on my skin like Revlon does, and it doesn't have a nasty perfumy smell to it!
face: monistat gel for primer
EDM albott's perk me up concealer
theBalm's bahama mama bronzer for contour
theBalm's hot mama blush
Mac Studio Fix in NC42
NYC loose powder
eyes: maybelline lash stylist mascara
highlight: ploof! eyeshadow from mac
eyeshadow from theBalm's all over lid

I paid $4 for the pump seperately. I really didn't know it cost that much but I would rather have a pump then pouring out too much of the product.

The texture is way much easier to spread than Revlon's colorstay. I really bought this foundation for the "golden" color in it because colorstay was making me look really pale. The artist matched me up perfectly! I'm so glad she did too because I don't have to pack on bronzer to make me look like it's my skin. This itself makes me look more natural. It blends in well and gives a medium coverage depending on how you apply it.

I really love this more than my "shore leave" eyeshadow from Mac also. The texture is so smooth, it is a frost..i love it! I take a large eyeshadow brush and lightly dip it in there and feather it under my bottom liner to give my eyes a pop.

Better Than Sex Cake -0h yeah

I honestly love baking, it takes patience to do so. These are the ingredients you will be needing (excluding the 1 egg, 2 tablespoon of olive oil, and 3/4 cup of water). The can on the left corner is sweetened condensed milk, and that is caramel syrup. The recipe calls for caramel ice cream topping which is probably thicker, but I wanted to do the squeezy thing at the end.

1. mix your cake and bake it the way it is directed. i used half a package so all of the ingredients are cut in half.
2. poke holes to make sure the cake is thoroughly baked (of course).
3. take a knife and cut slits but not all the way to the bottom of the cake.
4. pour a quarter of the condensed milk into a small pot on low heat. add the caramel to it, (however much you desire, you can keep tasting it) and stir. the syrup does not have to be hot, just get the ingredients to warm up.
5. after the cake has cooled down just a bit, pour the syrup into the slits. i actually made too much..but kept scooping it into the slits.
6. pour the heath chunks all over the cake.
7. let the cake cool completely, then top it off with thawed cool whip all over. take more heath chunks and sprinkle all over, then add caramel swirls!
8. FREEZE IT! it says to refrigerate it, but i found that it tasted so much better when i froze it because the cool whip thickened back up and the cake wasn't so soft...giving it some texture sorta like ice cream cake since the syrup kept it moist.

cake says: "mmmm..yes come taste me." :P

yummy oohey crunchy sweet whipped cake mmMm.
take your time and don't rush it (lol).

Beauty Refill + Queen Helene's Avocada & Grapefruit Masque

Pictured: China Glaze nail polish in "rich and famous", Ion developer & permanent creme color, Queen Helene's New Avocado & Grapefruit masque, Park Avenue's color protecting shampoo, L'oreal's Feria conditioner, and Beyond Belief's witch hazel toner.

I shop at Sally's often because I get free membership for being a military spouse. A while back I PROMISED to take care of my hair. I was getting very crabby this week because I got tired of looking at my hair since the jet black color was fading and my ends were getting dry. For some reason I thought that drugstore hair products would do the trick but man o man was I WRONG! We were broke for a bit so today I got a chance to get my beauty refill :)
Park Avenue's Shampoo: I LOVE THIS SHIZZZZ! HAHAHA.. no i'm so serious. It is the only shampoo that I have ever used that has made my hair feel soft after shampooing. I could feel the softness and I didn't even put on my conditioner yet. It didn't take too much of the product to lather up either. It comes in a 10oz bottle for $4.99 at sally's. They say it's comparable to Redken's line of products which I have never tried. I have also read reviewers say that this shampoo alone in itself has made their colors last an extra 4 weeks longer (which is why i bought it).
L'oreal Feria color protecting conditioner: This is my HG of conditioners. I will tell you that much. I use a small amount and leave it on my hair for a minute then rinse out and my hair is silky soft. It's a little pricey for the size but still a better deal than other salon brands.
Beyond Belief's Witch Hazel toner: Either my pregnancy or this stuff has prevented my acne. But this stuff picks up the last traces of makeup on my face and it does not sting or irritate my face. I love it because it's got just a small amount of alcohol in it. This is my second bottle, it's a huge bottle too!

I took a picture of the ingredients since I didn't want to list it (haha..lazy). They don't have the ingredients on the sally site..yet or IDK?

It claims to be a "gel-clay" formula and it sorta looks like the color of smashed avocados. The scent? It's not bothersome, I can smell a bit of grapefruit in there, but no sign of avocado (like i care though..).

Beware of the forehead.
The texture was easy to spread. It is thick, i'd say just a bit thinner than the Mint Julep masque.. This masque stung my face! BUT I notice that most masque's do right after I hop out of the shower, possibly because my pores are opened. I don't care about the stinging, I care about how the product works.
End results? My pores looked clean and the masque itself did not leave redness like what the Mint Julep one does. I really didn't feel any moisture after the masque, BUT I noticed that when I was spreading my Merlot's grapeseed NIGHT cream (which is pretty thick), it glided right onto my skin. Usually i'm standing there just rubbing and rubbing it in, but I really think the masque made my skin smooth.

enjoy! i'm probably going to visit the MAC counter tomorrow!

Girly EOTN

I like to put my finger on the side of my eyes to prevent over shadowing (i tend to do that a lot!). I wear my liner a bit thicker because my lids flap over each other so it doesn't show unless I wear it thicker.
I used a crease brush that I got from this kit to blend the mayhem eyeshadow onto my crease.

Products used for eyes: Urban Decay Book of Shadows palette;
last call-mayhem-scandal
Primer Potion
Revlon Colorstay liner in black
Lash Stylist
Wet n Wild mega liner
not picture: mac's shore leave for highlight under brow

I used the lightest shade from my Ardell brow colors to blend out the shadow.

Finished product :)
Blush: NYX pinky
Lipgloss: revlon nude lustre
Bronzer (on forehead): theBalm's bahama mama

Excuse the boobs..i'm a pregnant woman who's body is rapidly changing!

gimme cake now!

here's my yummy yellow cake (from the package) with cream filling. i poked a few holes inside the cake and filled it with the frosting using a butter knife and plastic spatula thing.

Don't forget the strawberries. I chose the darker ones because they're sweeter obviously!

After some intense cool whip, I got a little design-ish :P I'm an artist after all aren't i?

all mine. the cake itself is very moist and sweet. the batter smelled so yummy when i was mixing it. i bought the reduced sugar package by pilsbury i think. whatever, MMmmm.
I am going to color my hair back to jet black again this weekend. I also need a refill on my beauty supplies.

Late Night SWEETS!

We bought a box of corn chex yesterday from Wal-mart and here is what it is now :)
I didn't put too much powdered sugar because I didn't want it to be extra sugary!
Recipe: (you can alter it to however you'd like)
3 cups of corn chex
3/4 cup of peanut butter
1 teaspoon butter
1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolates
2 cups of powdered sugar
Pour the corn chex into a big mixing bowl. Melt the pb, butter, and semi-sweets together in microwave. I put mine in for 30 seconds. Afterwards quickly take it out and stir, make sure to scrape the bottom to get everybit of chocolate mixed in. Pour the mix onto the chex cereal and keep mixing all of it together til all the pieces are covered up. After everything is mixed well, keep sprinkling the powdered sugar on the covered cereal until it's evenly distributed.
Afterwards, you can let it sit, or just pop em' in ur mouth! :)
My husband first made this for me, then I got hooked. I am a steak and sweet craving pregnant woman!

theBalm's Holiday in BALM BEACH

Look what I found at TJ Maxx for $7.99. I believe it's half off and I got a brand new one, I opened it to check it out.

It comes with their #1 seller products such as: bahama mama bronzer, hot mama blush/eyeshadow, eyeshadow in michievous marissa, and tinted lip gloss in girl next door. The packaging is so cute, it's like a book and it's small so it's great for travel. I get a very natural look when using all of the products in this.

marissa eyeshadow-hot mama blush-bahama mama blush

I'm really enjoy the blush hot mama. Yes I can use it as eyeshadow, but what can't you use as an eyeshadow in powder form? It gives me a glow and just a slight hint of peachy pink. I use the bronzer as a contour.

TJMaxx has some great deals if you go in at the right time. I was surprised to find this new and not opened. They finally cleaned up the place puahaha. Last time I went in and found a bunch of Stila products but most of them had been open already.

Maybelline Pure Makeup + Target visit

Spending time on youtube causes me to go out and buy new things.
Anyways, I got the mini pink drawer for $5, all of my brushes are going to go in there. :) The I purchased Maybelline Pure Makeup, Sonia Kashuk's beauty blender, and NYC loose powder.
I was watching one of the videos and a girl was showing how to use Sonia Kashuk's blender. I usually apply my liquid foundation with my fingers but I really am getting tired of it. Her face looked flawless and her foundation evenly blended after applying it with the sponge. The original beauty blender costs $20 but I spent $9.99 for mine :) I will update on how it goes.
The NYC loose powder is mainly for setting my foundation. I usually use Physician's formula talc-free pressed powder but it costs $12 a pop! The NYC powder is supposed to be oil-controlling, non-pore clogging, and it only cost me $2.97.
I took a picture of it just cause I wanted to show how it the texture was and how it blends out. I blended this out with my finger. The texture is definitely light, I personally think you can feel the water in it, which I have no problem because it's oil free. It dries to a matte finish and I guess if you want, you can set it with powder.
I mainly bought this for in-home stay or when i'm on a quick run. I just need something light to even out my skintone and most tinted moisturizers break me out. I have a lot of redness in my skin and this covers it well. I find that if you use a foundation brush, you can get more coverage.

Nivea Lip Care and jibberish ~ !

Went grocery shopping with the hubs and remembered that I wanted a chapstick to put near the computer, since that's where I spend the majority of the time if i'm not in the kitchen.
I was debating between this or the new blistex anti-aging chapstick. I was like hrm, well this one has spf4 in it so i'll give it a shot.

I'm glad I did because this has no scent or flavor. I really like the idea of scents and flavors, but I am one to get tired of things quickly. We have a carmex sitting in our little bin and I don't bother to put it on because I think about how it might ruin the flavor of whatever I'm going to put into my mouth. (ehh)

I will be honest with this product. The moisture does not last all day long, but I don't mind reapplying it because one swipe on both top and bottom lip gives me moisture.

I just bought this off of eBay since we don't have a shop down here. Heck, there's nothing too special down here except for the beautiful paradise beaches!
Anyways, when I do get this I will definitely do a review. I'm excited to try it out, my skin is the most complicated ever. I have uneven, acne-prone, oily/combination, big pores SKIN! The green is supposed to calm down the redness in my skin..so we'll see what happens.
-------jibberish.
I can really care less if people think I wear a lot of makeup, it's what gives me confidence because I was not born with perfect skin. On top of that my hair is thick and not the easiest to tame. Bleh, but I do love myself a lot. I'm glad my husband loves me with or without makeup. I will not leave the house unless I have something to cover up my face, even if it's just tinted moisturizer.
I really didn't grow up "cute" or "pretty". I grew up sorta tomboy-ish since my older sister got married when I was 10. I didn't have anyone to teach me how to do this or do that, and my parents were always strict on who I was friends with. I wasn't allowed to go anywhere or have any sleepovers either!
BUT I eventually started blooming when I made new friends in high school and started to care about how I looked. I'm glad that I didn't grow up with the looks, because if so I would probably be a SNOB. So now not only does the hubby have a hot wife, but a SWEET hot wife. =)

Self Love

Growing up I never cared much about my looks until I reached high school. You can say I didn't really take care of myself until I started liking boys. I actually didn't eat lunch my freshmen and sophemore year of high school and lost a good amount of weight. I made new friends my junior year and started "blooming" I guess you can say. Til this day I still don't know why some guys hate me even though I never did anything to them. They claim that I used to be cool until I started hanging out with my new friends. *what losers really*

Overall I am still me. My personality has not changed and I personally do not think I am a snot. I love calling myself one though because I am very loved by my husband. ..that in itself is a very different story.

Some girls that grow up pretty get used to always getting what they want, but it's a different story for me. I wasn't always pretty and I believe you can say i'm rather quite humble.

Anyways, the real deal!

After meeting the love of my life and geting married, I packed on a good oh I don't know, 30lbs or more. I got too comfortable to where I didn't realize that blaming the washer and dryer for shrinking my jeans was not true. After my husband came back from Iraq I decided to make changes for my life. To be more active and healthy so that I don't have to

Boho/Tribal Look

I've had this stuff for a while now but I finally decided to put everything together. I love Nicole Richie and Mary Kate/Ashley's style. I also used to watch The Hills often but I lost track of them for a while now. Most of my stuff is from Forever 21/Wet Seal/Charlotte Russe. I am almost 24 weeks pregnant! I cannot wait to see my little baby Keenan.
Face: revlon colorstsay liquid foundation for oily/combo skin
physicians formula tacl free powder in light bronzer (to set the foundation)
mac's blush in harmony to contour
clinique's blush in precious posy
everyday minerals concealer in albott's perk me up
Eyes: mac's paint pot in perky (used as primer)
urban decay's eyeshadow in Mayhem on lower lid
urban decay in Roach on outer crease
urban decay in Scandal on inside part of upper lid
mac's shore leave eyeshadow on inner corners
revlon colorstay pencil in black on lower line
wet n' wild liquid liner on top lid
eBay falsies!
maybelline last stylist for mascara
Contact lens: freshlook colors in violet
Lips: nivea moisturier with SPF 4
revlon MATTE in pink pout

I ordered a pack of 10 of these eyelashes off of eBay for $5. They arrived in about 10 days which i not bad since I got free shipping! :) I love them because I don't have to apply mascara to make the lashes look darker and the lashes themselves don't look overly dramatic.

Olay In-Shower Body Lotion Review

What they say: Infuse your skin with nourishing moisture at the ideal moment for moisturizing skin.
Replace your ordinary lotion with a revolutionary rinse-off body lotion! Olay Ultra Moisture In-Shower Body Lotion works with the warmth and humidity of your shower to reveal soft, smooth skin after just one use. Daily use will improve hydration of dry skin in five days!
After cleansing with your usual body wash or bar soap, and while still in the shower, smooth onto wet skin, then rinse. Step out of the shower and experience softer, smoother skin.
Price Paid: $5.79 from Wal-Mart
My Experience: At first I was scared because of reading the reviews on makeupalley but I decided to try it anyways. This literally only took me one minute so squeeze outta the bottle and rub it all over my body, then rinse off. I was a little generous with my squeezing but it's a big bottle. Anyways, I didn't feel any moisturization until after I toweled myself off. After my skin completely dried I felt my skin...nice and smooth as if I put lotion on my body already! yay..(i can't stop touching my legs)
Good for: people who are on the go and don't have too much time
people who don't like putting lotion on
winter skin! this stuff soaks right in :)
PROS: no more need for body lotion
no more waiting for body lotion to dry...haha
very moisturizing
good price for the amount of product given
CONS: the smell can be too perfumy for some
They have this in the Quench version and anti-aging. I couldn't find the anti-aging one but I think target or walgreens might carry it. Give it a try! :)
