36 WKS Pregnant and the Countdown begins!

Here i am. 40lbs later. Trust me, I have gained that much weight and it's not easy being pregnant! Any day now my little guy can come out and i'm so nervous/excited/anxious. Lately I have been super paranoid of any sort of pain I feel. I'm definitely experiencing ligament pain since my body isn't used to the stretching and growth.

This was me in the beginning of the pregnancy. I think i'm 7 weeks here. (hubs was in africa at the time but he's been home for a while now) i miss my stomach :(

I am really excited about my total body makeover after Keenan comes out. Oh yeah, I told my husband that I deserve a shopping spree after I lose weight, so forever 21 better be on the watch out!

I do have a few goals.. :)

1. Lose all the weight i've gained by December (if not anytime sooner)

2. Fit into my skinny jeans again, i have just been wearing shorts my whole pregnancy.

3. Get back to being a health nut!

4. Grow my hair out and keep it either jet black or it's normal color (dark brown).

5. Get rid of stretch marks on my love handles, that's where they chose to grow.

6. Hope that happyprofile.com gets a better ranking on alexa!

What is your most challenging goal right now?Trying to stay in one piece with this pregnancy. It is a tough challenge and giving birth will be an even bigger one.

LOTD and Sushi

So I found my NYX lipgloss favorite in French Kiss in our guest bathroom. lol man have I missed it. It's on my lips)

Bonsai hibachi & sushi. I ordered the chicken tempura, which was pretty good. I love tempura on veggies too! I ate them before the chicken.

Our sushi we ordered. We tried the "Nini" and it was delish! it's smoked salmon, crab, and cream cheese deep fried!! It's so funny because I call my husband "nee nee" and he loved the sushi roll. Also the caterpillar roll (one of my faves) in the middle.

The waitress was like, are you pregnant? She was wondering why we didn't eat the raw one lol. Like yeah! don't i look pregnant to you?

Ulta Professional Highlighter Brush Review!

Ulta Professional Highlighter Brush

$26 at Ulta stores.

Overall Rating: 4 out of 5

Pros: this brush is known to be a dupe of Mac's 187 BUT i do NOT own one so i can't say if they are comparible. but if it is a dupe, the price is a pro compared to Mac's.

-does the job a stippling brush should

-gives me a nice airbrushed look

-bristles are soft

-handle is long and sturdy

Cons: price, i own the sonia kashuk highlighter brush and i feel it does the same job for $10

My experience: when i first washed it, it shedded! i mean i was so mad, just the black bristles though. i thought, maybe once it dries it won't be so bad...then when it dried, i tried applying my studio fix liquid with it and i had to literally pick off 7 pieces of black bristles off my face! i was going to go back to Ulta to return it.

BUT, after the second wash there wasn't any shedding. *whew* i didn't want to pay $26 for a brush that sheds! i haven't noticed any shedding after the first wash since.

my real take on this: if you feel like spending a little, you should get this. BUT, if you are on the hunt for a cheaper version, get the Sonia Kashuk highlighter brush. it has never shedded on me and it does the same job this brush does.

You can find this wherever New York Color is sold. $3.99 or cheaper wherever you find it.

What do I love most about this? It's small and travel friendly. (i hate bulky packaging!) It's got all the colors you need for a look. The small applicator with the brush on the end is great for the inner corner of your eyes.

The shadows are buildable and can be sheer too.

...ranting: so i've been breaking out a little bit and i'm trying to figure out what it is. i ran out of my philosphy purity cleanser so i have to order more. an 8oz of it lasted me 5 months! i need more :( i don't know if it's the lack of sleep that i've been getting that's causing me to break out but i hope it is. i hate switching up products but the only new product i've added to my routine is the ABH pore refiner...so we will see. Or my husbands greasy lips kissing me on my forehead.

I'm sorry if I responded twice to your previous comments ladies! Our internet went out because of shitty wiring and now we have a temporary line running through our backdoor! UGH! So lately i've just been at Panera Bread using their free wi-fi there and checking up on your blogs =)

I swear I go into sally's like once or twice a month. I get 15% off plus the sally card since I spend a minimum amount there each month..lol. The shampoo and conditioner were a BOGO for $10 and so were the Beyond Belief products. I bought the pore minimizing scrub and the witch hazel (again). The witch hazel is amazing if you are suffering with acne! I'm not lying. It's moisturizing and doesn't not leave my skin tightened and dry. I'll do a review later on the pore scrub.

The shampoo is BLUE! I'll have to do a full review in 2 weeks or so. So far so good. Coloresse products are supposed to be sulfate free.

these definitely make my eyes look bigger and it has a black "ring" around the color fusions. if you are a contact lens wearer, you know that finding comfortable lens can be a bit difficult and colored lenses have always irritated my eyes. but these feel like i'm not wearing anything and they are as comfortable as my acuvue 2.

My sexy man. He's my first love and i'm glad he is, because he takes such awesome care of me and we have a one-of-a-kind relationship! (who doesn't though right?) He loves me with or without makeup and we are in it to win it baby!

Suntanning While Being Pregnant

My hunny bun and I. Lol i know this isn't the best picture of him but I liked it because we didn't have so much space in the picture unlike the rest. Destin is my home :)

So, how is it being pregnant and going to the beach for a tan? At first I was really self-concious about what people would think but I did read up about tanning before I went to the beach. I am not a bad mom and I did slather my body with sunblock spf 50. My belly WAS really white compared to my legs and my chest area was starting to look a little ghostly.

I like being tan, it sorta runs naturally in my blood (my mom's side-laotion) haha.

Anyways, I got a lot of stares, I could see people staring but then these ladies came by and asked my husband about his tattoo (his whole left leg is covered in a tat) and said my belly was cute. :P I kept my body cool by spritzing water on me with a mist sprayer like constantly and I drank a lot of water so that I won't harm me or Keenan by getting dehydrated.

I am happy with my tan, since I do tan easily and we had a good relaxing time before the hubs go on MIDS. boo hoo.

Hello Kitty Cupcakes and random

My attempt to make hello kitty cupcakes :P I really could have done a great job at these IF my stupid gel icing thingy had a better squeez tube. BUT i managed to sorta do okay. They are YUMMY! Strawberry cupcakes with whipped strawberry icing. mMMmm.

In the car with Nee, back from grocery shopping. I'm obsessed with hearts. I really am actually. It's not overload scary but I just love hearts, even my diamond on my wedding ring is a heart.

My husband and I are running a website called www.happyprofile.com and i've designed a bunch of backgrounds and graphics on there! Some are just photoshop brushes used but I have taken my time to contribute to the website. Check it out!

I have about a month and a half left til my little guy gets here! I can't wait.

Lately and a little experiment

My whatever look. I just threw some makeup on and didn't care much about the eyeshadow. I'm also wearing my bling bling bow tie ring! :)

I'm trying my best to keep it together..being a swollen pregnant lady and all. I am starting to not care as much because I am soon going to be on bed rest! haha..well by that I really mean I'm starting to hate going out to places because: 1. i can't stand it whenever someone is in the same aisle as me or is standing close to me. 2. i am always getting this feeling that people are evil and they will ram their shopping carts into my belly and hurt my little keenan! 3. i am constantly having to pee.

He's growing and his movements hurt like ****. I squeal with every move he makes, and let me tell you he is a very active baby. If anything, when he comes out, I hope he puts all that extra energy into books and sports.

I am very blessed to have a caring husband who is supporting me in every way that he can. We bought the carseat today and he really wanted the Disney one lol. It's pooh bear and so far Keenan has everything Pooh bear! ..oh yeah we also got him a matching pooh bear mobile hehe :P

So...today I went into A.C. Moore crafts which is like right up the road from where I live today and grabbed a few things. I love sterling silver and they're having a 2 for $5. I was like yes! (i didn't plan on spending a lot). Then I grabbed some swarovski hearts, smaller ones because I want to do a few things with them. I made the necklace and it took me probably 30 minutes trying to make my connecting rings snap shut together.

I titled it "our hearts" because I told my husband that our hearts are together always.
