Bach Rescue Remedy Spray review

What the website says about it:
Rescue® Remedy has been used successfully on stressful days where we suffer from impatience, tension and pressure. It has also been used successfully with children to stop a tantrum, before a speech or job interview. Rescue® Remedy helps us relax, get focused and get the needed calmness.
Many people chose to carry Rescue Remedy® in their purse, at the office, in the car or in the diaper bag. You never know when you need it.
Pregnant women in labor have made the experience easier and less traumatic by taking Rescue Remedy.
Rescue Remedy® can also be taken just before going to bed to calm a troubled mind.

My THOUGHTS on this:

So as some of you may know, my husband is currently deployed and I relocated back to my family MILES away from where we are currently stationed.

I went crazy for a bit there with uncontrollable spells and I didn't know my hormones were imbalanced.  My period was changing and I was breaking out everywhere so that gave off a hint and I would call my husband crying hysterically.

In all honesty I felt like I was losing my mind.  My anxiety was going through the roof and I would really start worrying about nothing.  I felt like turning to meds to help fix my depression/anxiety but I wanted to go a natural route until I could get my hormones regulated.

I looked online and researched this for a while, then took a drive to whole foods to purchase it.

Does it work?

I'm not sure if it is placebo or not but it did help me when I felt the anxiety was going to come (which is usually at night).  It really is a hit or miss for anyone.  But it works for me when I just need to focus on real life and get back to finishing what I was doing in the first place.

This doesn't help depression but it helps ease anxiety if you have any.

Maybelline Color Sensational High Shine LIp Gloss in Electric Shock Review

Maybelline's claim is that this is 100% wax free

The texture is quite thick, there isn't a smell to it really and you can't taste much either.  This is definitely pigmented and glossy.  It sort of leaves a stain after the gloss wears off.

would I buy this again?  it's 50/50.  it's a great gloss, but i've been more into stains lately so we will see.

My lips with foundation on it..

high shine gloss in electric pink after, nothing else

Kot Von D Everlasting Love Liquid Lipstick in Jeffree Review

The claim: This long-wear lipstick from Kat Von D stains your luscious lips with striking color, from flashy brights to smoldering neutrals. The liquid formula goes on wet for smooth, precise application and then dries to a matte, velvety finish. Once applied, there's no need to worry about smudging or migrating.

You can find it:here

Excuse the breakouts, i've been going through a lot lately but i've been trying to cheer up and keep pressing forward. ;)

So moving onto the review!

Pros:  Great color

Cons:  staying power is not so great.  after eating a sandwich, I could see a nice part of this completely gone on the inner parts of my lips.  reapplying can get cakey if you don't remove it all first then reapply (sucks).  the tube is very small, when you first apply the lipstick it is very liquidy, then dries to a matte finish.  if you aren't careful with how you apply it, it can end up looking uneven and clownlike :(

would I buy this again?  nope.  comparing this to stila's liquid lipcolor, this definitely takes a beating.

keenan and i in the morning, he knows what mama's up to, busy taking pictures for the blog ;)

Tiffany and Co. Twist Bow Ring - sweet simplicity

©leslielovesmakeup.blogspot.com

The polish I used is by Finger Paints (usually found at Sally's) in "Tiffany Imposter" (haha)

The ring is an early birthday gift from my husband who is serving the country right now.  I miss him like there's no way I could ever explain.

The ring itself is very simple yet so cute.  I went inside the store to try it on because I had to see for myself in person to make sure I really love it, and I do.  The only issue I have with this ring is that it can snag a few things here and there because of the two ends.  Other than that this is a sweet piece added to my collection.
