HG Foundation TAG!

I was tagged by Chomfifi to tell about my HG foundation.
I use Mac's Studio Fix fluid in NC42 and mix it with a bit of Revlon Colorstay for oily/combo skin in Golden beige. One is too dark and one is too light so both of them put together makes my skin color! :P
I'm going to finish up my NC42 bottle and just stick with colorstay. I find them both really similar except colorstay is cheaper! I use my ulta highlighter brush to apply it because it gives me an airbrushed look and I don't have to use much of the foundation either. When I used my blending sponge, it felt really heavy on my face but the highlighter brush takes half the time and less heavy.

btw chom, i got a zit on my face yesterday already. :( it's going away though.

    aww thank you for doing this tag leslie! im sorry about the zit -_-" LOL but at least its going away!!!! i have the revlon colorstay too but i cant find the perfect shade for me. its hard to pick at a drugstore

    wah,,, i also mix foundations to get my color.. :D i want to try studiofix liquid.. i just can't seem to find my shade match in colorstay.. :C

    haha.. she's really funny about the huge zit. :) i'm going to do this too cuz i don't wanna have that. :DD

    i LOVE studio fix fluid- man I gotta check out that revlon foundie- everyone keeps raving about it- the only problem is picking out the right color- since drugstores don't have testers :(

    i wanna try the colorstay too! it's been on the hotseat lately haha. i want the powder version cuz i'm super oily. is it any good? like, is it ok for oily skin?

    I'm still waiting for the day I discover a foundation that doesn't oxidize on me. Even the mineral powder I'm using right now turns my face orange and it's supposed to be translucent. It looks very orange by the time I wipe it off my face. I might try Colorstay soon.
