What made my Day. Love.

HappyProfile.com

Not that many people know the story of how my husband and I. It's a long story but I can sum it up by saying we were long distance AND my family did not approve of him. He lived in florida at the time and I lived in minnesota. I remember the first time I ever came to visit him I seriously fell in love with florida and HIM.

Today we went to eat at the Asian King Buffet and we had not been there for a super long time. Then I said to my husband while we were eating, "hey, you took me here that night i ranaway to be with you", and he says, "no, you didn't runaway, you were just coming home." My heart melted. <3>

..and to satisfy your curious minds, yes i left everything behind to follow my hhhh-eart. :) i don't regret a single day. it's just hard doing long distance when your heart is half way across the world or 2000 miles away from you.

Wow, your hubby is so sweet! I always notice that you have something nice to say about your husband on your posts. You made such a great sacrifice but I'm glad you are happy with how things turned out to be. You are so strong for doing what you did, I don't know if I would have the courage to do so myself. yay you!

Awww - love that bit about you coming 'home.' I love it when guys surprise you with little softy comments like that.
And omg - I know what you mean, seems like as military spouse, your relationship is perpetually in some state of long distance at one time or another.

Aww that's super cute!!

The first time I ever hugged my boyfriend he literally felt like home. There's no other way to explain it.

Long distance is so hard, before my boyfriend now I only had LD relationships. I dont know if I could do it any more though!

That is a very moving story, even tho it was the short version. "no, you didn't runaway, you were just coming home" what a lovely way to put it. I wish I had your guts to follow your heart. I tend to follow my head and miss out very often.
