DIY Fairy Light Vanity Area ♥ [original]

I'm obsessed with lights at night.  I think that's my favorite part of Christmas actually, the tree.  Our new place has open space and high ceilings so I wanted to fill up our room with more warmth. ;)

Materials used:

tulle curtains from Ikea - $5
white string mini lights (target) - $6
a mirror (if you don't have one already) (I bought mine from Bed Bath and Beyond)

I bundled up the top of the curtains and tied them together into a small circle with a metal wire then hung it on a nail.  I strung the lights onto the nail too.

Simple..yet it makes me happy :)

Beachy Waves Using Revlon's Perfect Heat 3 Barrel Jumbo Waver

Hi!  I know it has been a while but I've been feeling much better since my husband came back from his deployment.  Life's a journey and sometimes you go down some really dark roads..but eventually you'll come back to the light and find your way.  I am thankful for everything in my life.

Anyways!  This waver is found in most Walmart's for around $21 so it's not a bad deal.

I section off my hair and start from the bottom.  I usually let the waver heat up for 5 minutes before I start "waving" not "crimping".  After I've waved all of my hair I set it with Aussies Freeze Spray (my favorite!!)

Maybelline Whisper Lipstick in Oh La Lilac

These are super soft and pigmented.  It reminds me of Revlon lip butters but I had a bad reaction to those.  These claim to be wax free..so that's probably why my lips don't mind this.  I do want to try more colors so we will see.  These are great if you want a balm like feel with some color to perk up your lips.

I love cool toned lipcolors!
