Anyways, I got the mini pink drawer for $5, all of my brushes are going to go in there. :) The I purchased Maybelline Pure Makeup, Sonia Kashuk's beauty blender, and NYC loose powder.
I was watching one of the videos and a girl was showing how to use Sonia Kashuk's blender. I usually apply my liquid foundation with my fingers but I really am getting tired of it. Her face looked flawless and her foundation evenly blended after applying it with the sponge. The original beauty blender costs $20 but I spent $9.99 for mine :) I will update on how it goes.
The NYC loose powder is mainly for setting my foundation. I usually use Physician's formula talc-free pressed powder but it costs $12 a pop! The NYC powder is supposed to be oil-controlling, non-pore clogging, and it only cost me $2.97.
I took a picture of it just cause I wanted to show how it the texture was and how it blends out. I blended this out with my finger. The texture is definitely light, I personally think you can feel the water in it, which I have no problem because it's oil free. It dries to a matte finish and I guess if you want, you can set it with powder.
I mainly bought this for in-home stay or when i'm on a quick run. I just need something light to even out my skintone and most tinted moisturizers break me out. I have a lot of redness in my skin and this covers it well. I find that if you use a foundation brush, you can get more coverage.

hello dear, thank you for visiting my blog! I have been wanting to try out the Sonia Kashuk sponge, but I can't find it anywhere near me! Grrr.
you should do a makeup video tutorial. that would be cool & helpful!!!! i need tips.
Aww..i was hoping to see a video. But i think everyone feels that way when we see ourselves on video. Even when we hear our voices on the phone. It's so weird. The plastic bins that we have work wonders!
